Workshops begin for Center for Social Enterprise Development

I am excited to announce the formal launch of the Center for Social Enterprise Development and the subscription phase of the CINCO Fund, LLC.

The first accomplishment of the Center was the release on May 29 of a survey of the understanding, awareness, and involvement of Central Ohio nonprofits in social enterprise.  Not surprisingly, the survey validated the need for both the Center (for training) and the Fund (for capital): it found that the two greatest needs a nonprofit faces are sufficient staff capabilities to operate a start-up enterprise and the availability of adequate start-up capital.

Here are the next four programs of the Center for Social Enterprise Development.  All are focused on helping nonprofits to evaluate their potential to boost their earned revenues through new revenue-generating initiatives.
