The Center for Social Enterprise Development is now SocialVentures

Starting today and continuing through August 15 we will be rolling out the exciting changes to the Center for Social Enterprise Development.

Today you are receiving our first blog under our new name, SocialVentures.  Our new website will go live August 15.  There you will see many valuable new features such as the social enterprise Marketplace, the new Advisors program, Expert Eval program, a Frequently Asked Questions section on social enterprise, and many new programs specifically targeted to helping social entrepreneurs bring their new ventures to sustained growth.

Also on this site is a new Investment section to connect investors and entrepreneurs to local opportunities in impact investment, including information on our newly-launched Social Ventures Fund.

For those of you near Central Ohio, you will hear even more at Positioned to Prosper, Tuesday August 15 from 5pm to 7pm at the Columbus Museum of Art.  Already over 250 people are registered for this free event, the largest gathering of social enterprise supporters in the region.  Register here.

In my next blog, I will tell you even more about the expanding number of ways in which we are working to advance social enterprise.
