Women Crafting Change
A Columbus social enterprise for women who may have challenges accessing traditional employment & seek to create change in themselves, their communities & the world through handcrafted items
Our vision is to welcome more people to WCC and simultaneously create a positive environment that fosters inner growth and change evidenced outwardly, as we help bring change to the gift market by offering locally handcrafted items made with re-purposed and sustainable materials.
Our Social Impact
We measure success in terms of the number of participants in Women Crafting Change, the number and amount of sales for WCC products as well as all Global Gallery products. Most importantly, we measure success in terms of the quality of community members' engagement with individuals different from themselves.
Women Crafting Change (WCC) experienced a lot of growth in 2018, with hopes to continue growing into the coming year. Growth included new members, programs, a bigger space and produced materials. Currently we have one paid program director and 10 program participants that receive monthly Kroger gift cards.
